The location of this hostel is excellent as it is situated just outside the city but still within walking distance. There are plenty of local shops nearby, such as a Co-op store, a pub, and a bakery. the hostel itself is comfortable and recently refurbished, with a lovely new kitchen and carpets. the host is friendly and responsive, providing extras like a hoover and airers when needed.

The seating area in the back garden could use some modernization and the grassed area is not very private due to its proximity to the road.

Spacious bedrooms and comfortable furnishings made for a relaxing stay. Convenient central location with easy access to attractions and amenities. Enjoyed the cozy fireplace and well-equipped kitchen.

Lack of a second bathroom was inconvenient for a group of six adults. Would have liked access to a washer and dryer for added convenience.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming property. the location was perfect, with the Wallace Monument and a great gastropub just a stone's throw away. the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the well, equipped kitchen had everything we needed. the modern bathroom and shower worked perfectly, making our mornings hassle, free. We also appreciated the lovely welcome card left by the owner. it was a spacious, comfortable, and well, located property that exceeded our expectations.

The only slight downside was the limited number of crockery and cups, making it necessary to wash some items by hand.

Everything about this place was amazing! The house was spacious and immaculate, with comfortable furnishings that made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, within walking distance to key attractions like the Wallace Monument and with a Co Op store nearby for any necessities. We also loved the calm ambience and the stunning view of the monument from the living room.

Some traffic noise during the day, but it didn't really spoil our visit. Another slight inconvenience was that the toilet and bathroom were together, which made it a bit difficult for our group of six to manage.
